Loving God and Loving People
We love Jesus, believe the Bible, and have loving, caring people from many denominations.

The Chapel is a beautiful building in an ideal setting, but it is the people that are the church.

Come and visit us and you will experience God's warmth and love as we strive together to be what God has called us to be.

We are waiting to get back to having potluck dinners again every third Sunday right after service.

Hi Corey,
I want to give a special thank you for the chapel family, especially Tom who helped me by changing my tire. It is nice to have a family the looks out for each other. I find the more I reach out and give of myself the more I receive.

Hi Pastor Corey, I just want you to know that I heard from God this morning in our chapel service. As I shared this with my friends around the camp fire, they said they had the same experience. God is so good.

Hi Pastor Corey,
I just want to say thanks for the help from the chapel. Hard times have caused me to have to humble myself and ask for help. The helping hand has made a big difference for me in my time of need.
Hello Corey,
Thanks for the help in cleaning my lot. Charlie was wonderful.
The second Saturday of every month our men get together to eat breakfast and learn how to be a better man of God. We start at 8:30 AM and are done promptly at 9:30 AM so you can still complete your "honey do" list.
Everyone is welcome to come to the chapel. If you are not a member of the camping club, just stop at the front or back gates and ask for a chapel pass. The friendly rangers will give you a pass and directions if you need them.
Something to Think About: 11-18-25
Can you believe we are past the halfway point of November already? The weather has certainly changed. Lots of leaves have fallen, some of them the biggest I have ever seen. And because this is the “Great Northwest” we have lots of rain. It’s the time of the year when it gets harder and harder to do things like go for a walk after dinner, or a morning trip to the exercise room. Wading through the creek called Nutmeg Road is just not all that fun.
The alternative is to do what you feel like doing. We live in a time where feelings reign. Every speech, article, show, song, etc. is judged by people’s feelings. As a teacher I tried to teach my students to say, “I think” instead of “I feel”. We all have a right to our feelings, but the truth is feelings are not always reliable. Feelings are not always the truth.
As I have gotten older, I hopefully have gotten wiser, but my feelings sometimes hold me back. I don’t know if you have ever used this phrase, but there are times when “I just don’t feel like doing that”. Sometimes it’s no big deal. Sometimes it is a big deal. “I just don’t feel like leaving the house to go to the Chapel for Thanksgiving Dinner”.
When Jesus walked the earth there was not much that was easy. If you plan on doing something worthwhile, you will be challenged and it won’t be easy. That’s the way it was for Jesus. He was opposed by the religious leaders who were afraid of losing their power. Too many people were stuck in their human traditions of what the Messiah was going to be like.
The older we get the harder it gets but I would like to challenge you to keep pressing to action. Sitting at home is easy, self-discipline to move, help, and love your neighbors makes life better. Come to our Thanksgiving Dinner and be thankful for the blessings you have received. Reach out and help someone even with just some kind words. It is what Jesus would do.

Are you planning an outreach event in a park where there is no electricity? We would love to help. One Messenger Ministries is adaptable to any age group with the goal of encouragement that is fun and entertaining. We can bring our PA system to lead worship, or do a whole service with a variety of ways to share the love of Jesus. Sanctified blues, patriotic, gospel with tight harmony, even country.
