We love Jesus, believe the Bible, and have loving, caring people from many denominations.
The Chapel is a beautiful building in an ideal setting, but it is the people that are the church.
Come and visit us and you will experience God's warmth and love as we strive together to be what God has called us to be.
We are waiting to get back to having potluck dinners again every third Sunday right after service.

Hi Corey,
I want to give a special thank you for the chapel family, especially Tom who helped me by changing my tire. It is nice to have a family the looks out for each other. I find the more I reach out and give of myself the more I receive.

Hi Pastor Corey, I just want you to know that I heard from God this morning in our chapel service. As I shared this with my friends around the camp fire, they said they had the same experience. God is so good.

Hi Pastor Corey,
I just want to say thanks for the help from the chapel. Hard times have caused me to have to humble myself and ask for help. The helping hand has made a big difference for me in my time of need.
Hello Corey,
Thanks for the help in cleaning my lot. Charlie was wonderful.
The second Saturday of every month our men get together to eat breakfast and learn how to be a better man of God. We start at 8:30 AM and are done promptly at 9:30 AM so you can still complete your "honey do" list.
Everyone is welcome to come to the chapel. If you are not a member of the camping club, just stop at the front or back gates and ask for a chapel pass. The friendly rangers will give you a pass and directions if you need them.
Something to Think About: 4/9/24
I am enjoying the slow but sure incoming spring. Spring brings hope as things warm up, the blossoms bloom, and things are coming out of hibernation. Meanwhile we are in full onslaught of political news and constant reports of the things going on in our broken world. It can be overwhelming. The hardest thing I have to get over is the constant reminders of my past.
This is a trick of the enemy to derail you from your future. I am sure you remember in the “Lion King” Where the baboon hits the lion on the head. The lion says, “what did you do that for?” The baboon says “it doesn’t matter, it’s in the past. The truth is we cannot undo the past but it does not have to control the future. Jesus has thrown our past into the sea of forgetfulness.
So, what does the future hold? The Bible gives us lots of things that will happen in the last days. Reading it is like listening to the nightly news. I look at how much our world has changed in the last 4 years and realize we could be getting close. Some people don’t want to think about these things, but for those who walk with Jesus, this is not scary, it is exciting. I do not know what is coming in November, next month or even tomorrow. But I do know I will someday be walking on streets of gold. In the meantime I am going to live this life the best I can.
My challenge for you this time is to enjoy and celebrate the good things going on. If you would like a future that includes the rest of eternity, that is available to you as well.
Something To Think About: 3-24-24
Are you tired of all the politics in our world. I am… I am tired of the lies, the striving for power and control, and the thing that bothers me most: doing what is best for me and my family, I don’t care what it does to the people in this country.
We just celebrated Palm Sunday, and believe it or not, politics were a problem at the first Palm Sunday. People were looking for the Messiah to come and free them from the Romans. The religious leaders hated Jesus’ popularity and were afraid He would take away their power. As Jesus came to Jerusalem riding on a colt, people laid their coats on the road and waved palm branches singing Hosanna. People were excited because the King of the world had arrived. What most people don’t know is that the palm branch was a political symbol. If Jesus were doing the same thing here and now, we would be waving American Flags.
Here’s the thing… Jesus did not come to be king of the world. He didn’t come to bring peace. He didn’t come to kick out the Romans and free the Jews. Jesus came to free all of us from sin. He came to break down the judgements of religion and its leaders and give us the opportunity for a right relationship with His Father. In short Jesus cares about politics, but unlike today’s politicians, He cares more about touching and healing the hearts of individuals.
My challenge for you this time is to not let the crazy political people take you to where you don’t want to go. Do your research from all sides of the issues, make informed decisions and vote, then put it in Gods’ hands. Be prepared for what might come but enjoy and live each day to the fullest. If you walk with Jesus you know that it all will work out for your good.
